Here are the official screen shots from Leaf Bound. These screen shots are taken from the latest build of the game that had been submitted to Apple for review. Due to the heavy activity of all the application updates conforming to compatibility of the OS 3.0 it may take a little longer than expected. We are watching the forums of other iPhone developers closely to see if Apple is picking up the pace on approving apps.

New Mecha Monkey Added: Heli Monkey

We have a new Mecha Monkey added to the list of Mecha Monkey Mayhem. We introduce to you “Heli Monkey”. This robotic monkey has a Steve Urkle look. Heli Monkey attacks from above with Coconuts. Stomp on the Heli Monkey and watch the monkey spin out of control! It has been a good week since we have added any content to the site.

Bare with us as we are working hard to finish the game to ship to Apple for approval. We set a deadline to release the game today. We had to extend our deadline to submit the game since we aren’t completely finish. We want to provide our gamers with the best game play experience as possible. Hang in there! We’ll keep you posted!

Night Level Screen Shots

I’ve completed the design of the night level a week ago. It was a tweak of the original bamboo day time stage. I altered the colors and changed the background to fit with a more nightly theme.

In the screen shots below I demonstrate the resized smoke explosion of the monkeys. Now the explosions are even bigger!

Snow Stage Screen Shots

Duy just finished designing the snow stage. This is our brightest level thus far. I added in the stage’s ledge to match the snow level a little bit. Sprinkled some snow on top of the ledge.

I just added the explosion effects when you stomp on the Mecha Mega Monkeys. Sent over the animation frames to be placed into the scene. Now it is even more exciting stomping on the Monkeys! You get to see them blow up! I will have a video of the Mecha Mega Monkeys in action soon.
