Here is another update! We have the Monkey boss on a sleigh launching bananas.
Battle the evil robots as Yuri makes her way up to the top. Embark on a journey high into the forest collecting power ups and face evil robotic monkeys. Battle evil bosses and save the forest from evil destruction. Only on the iPhone and iPod touch.
Here is the video capture of Yuri battling the boss of level 2. This boss transforms from a Capser like mini ghost to a big red ghost that blows fire. We still need to add audio of the flame blowing. We’re getting there!
We have a new Mecha Monkey added to the list of Mecha Monkey Mayhem. We introduce to you “Heli Monkey”. This robotic monkey has a Steve Urkle look. Heli Monkey attacks from above with Coconuts. Stomp on the Heli Monkey and watch the monkey spin out of control! It has been a good week since we have added any content to the site.
Bare with us as we are working hard to finish the game to ship to Apple for approval. We set a deadline to release the game today. We had to extend our deadline to submit the game since we aren’t completely finish. We want to provide our gamers with the best game play experience as possible. Hang in there! We’ll keep you posted!
We are updating our game based off of our recent beta feed back for Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem. Very valuable feed back thank you! This will help us optimize our game to make it a better fit for the general audience.
We are happy to announce that our official Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem BETA is released! Although we were 4 hours behind schedule on the release date we hit our targeted goal of this milestone for the Beta!

Beta Sign Up is still open if you haven’t already signed up!
Below is our official game play video of the Beta with sound and music!! The previous videos we posted didn’t have sound or music in it.
We are running a little behind schedule. We should have the beta released in a few hours from now. So we are thinking by 2-3am. We will send out an email to all of those who subscribed with instructions on how to get the Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem BETA.
Hang in there!
We are aiming to have the official beta release of Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem by tonight as promised. If you haven’t signed up for beta testing yet then please do so. Duy completed the design of the elements for the first boss. I’m going to do a test on the boss battle in a moment. The menu screen and loaders are completed. We are close to having a fully functional game. We are aiming at knocking out the game over screen tonight. Hopefully I’ll be able to have an update on the video with sound. Quynh is finishing up the boss soundtrack. Check back tonight!
Hang in there! We are getting there!

Been out all day. Finally got home to do a conference call with Tony and Duy. So we are aiming at getting the first official BETA release by Wednesday. A handful of people had already signed up to test our Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem beta.
Quynh is finishing up the sound track for the boss battle and finalizing some in game sound effects. We should have those ready by the time we release the Beta. All the pieces are being put together rapidly the further we go into the project.
We are completing the transition of the levels and main boss for the first level. Once we have our two levels with boss in it then we will release the beta. We will keep the beta updated with revisions until the official release of the game. We just have to get the hard part out of the way.
There are a lot of small items in the game play that makes it fun and exciting. We are going to add invincibility for our character. If she collects 3 hot sauce bottles in a row then she will turn red and become faster and invincible for a period of time.
I will email everyone that is on our beta test list instructions on how to download it as soon as we get the official one going.
Here are some Mega Mecha Monkey Sketches.
I’ve completed the design of the night level a week ago. It was a tweak of the original bamboo day time stage. I altered the colors and changed the background to fit with a more nightly theme.
In the screen shots below I demonstrate the resized smoke explosion of the monkeys. Now the explosions are even bigger!
